The successful conclusion of MSD China’s 2010 Spring Reception at Orange Tree Bistro!

The newest year of minority supplier development in China kicked off with the MSD China 2010 Spring Reception, prior to the Chinese Spring Festival, at Orange Tree Bistro in Beijing, on January 29, 2010.

Guests included multinational executives, representatives of Chinese minority business, and government officials.

Yang Liu, Director of MSD China opened the reception with a welcome address in which she expressed her sincere appreciation for everyone’s attendance and support over the past year. She extended warm greetings and best wishes to everyone in attendance as Chinese New Year approached. Michael Yang, MSD China Chairman and Vice President and General Manager of Dell (China) Co. Ltd. expressed confidence in MSD China’s ability to make considerable progress in the coming year. Peng Zechang, Director of The Economic Development Department of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, attended the event. Mr. Peng stated that “MSD China is making a pioneering effort in China. This has great significance. If done properly, it will be very valuable for the government in future policy making.”

Following lively networking, guests at the reception were entertained by a live band show playing traditional Mongolian melodies.
