October 25-28, 2009 New Orleans, U.S.A.

It was with great pleasure that Ms. Yang Liu, Director of MSD China, and Ms. Yang Huaiying, Vice Director of MSD China were able to participate in the 2009 NMSDC Conference and Business Opportunity Fair in New Orleans from Oct.25-28, 2009.

The nation’s benchmark forum on minority supplier development brings together approximately 6,000 Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American business owners, corporate minority supplier development professionals, purchasing executives, corporate decision-makers, and government officials for four days at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. The fair allows attendees to deliver and share the latest information and ideas on minority business development.

MSD China gave presentations at several industry group meetings in order to introduce its work and progress during the past year. We also delivered the exciting news of  the successful undertaking of MSD China’s First National Conference and Business Opportunity Fair in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Many of the members in attendance showed great interest in establishing further dialogue.

During the four day event, MSD China was able to communicate constructively with purchasing corporations and American minority business enterprises. Following the four day event we are confident of being able to promote minority supplier development in China as an efficient business model that can benefit both corporate buyers and minority suppliers.

Ms. Yang Liu, Director of MSD China presents Ms. Harriet Michel, President of National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and Mr. Eric Vicioso, Director of International Programs of NMSDC with the commemorative silk ribbon of the 1st MSD China National Conference and Business Opportunity Fair in 2009.
